Using twitter, i'm asking my plc for ideas, suggestions.i'm even chatting one on one with a 3rd grade teacher in missouri. It's her first year doing this too! I'm currently working on the genius hour approval form for the kiddos to fill out with their sketched plan. For the last five or six weeks my third graders have been hard at work discovering their inner genius through our genius hour research time in the library. I've found that with younger students (in second to fourth grades) genius hour is best done when scaffolded to help students succeed.
